abort

abort discards the open part.

Syntax

abort

The command takes no argument.

What it does

abort throws away the part that block or cylinder opened, with every command given for it, and returns to the Control phase. The part never reaches the mesh.

When James applies it

When it is read. abort is legal only in the Part phase.

Diagnostics

  • E0411: no part is open.

Example

The script tests/corpus/031-abort-discards-part/input.tg, which make test runs:

block 1 3; 1 3; 1 2; 0 1; 0 1; 0 1;
pb 2 2 1 2 2 1 x 5
abort
block 1 2; 1 2; 1 2; 0 1; 0 1; 0 1;
endpart

The first part and its pb are discarded. The IR holds the second part alone.
